The 2019 American Flat Track season will kick off on March 14, when the high-speed racing series gets the green flag at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The 18-round series will include all four track formats: mile ovals, half-mile ovals, short track ovals, and TT’s, which incorporate turns and jumps, and all three engine classes: AFT Twins, AFT Singles, and AFT Production Twins. The 2019 schedule will feature the AFT Production Twins class at 11 events. 

AFT will continue its relationship with NBCSN, where programs will run on NBCSN within two weeks after each event, starting with the Daytona race premiering on March 24 at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.

“American Flat Track has become a staple of our racing line-up on NBCSN,” said Jeff Macaluso, senior director of programming, NBC Sports Group, “and we are excited to continue our partnership."

Along with the 18 weekend premieres, NBCSN will also re-air each event during a weekday before the program will be available on the NBCSN app and NBCSports.com. There will be live streaming of each round by Fanschoice.tv, as well.

AFT programs will be produced by NASCAR Productions, LLC, and will give its audience coverage flag-to-flag by using aerial drones and onboard cameras, in addition to the typical race coverage.
