Clueless Too: St Louis and Valkenswaard

This is a satirical look at some of the bigger (and smaller) talking points from the weekend’s action based on what viewers from around the world are commenting on. Please don’t take it too seriously.

- After all the excitement of Daytona, one boring race and the cries for the Triple Crown are back

- Where was this Eli Tomac in San Diego?

- Or Oakland?

- Or… ok, you get the picture, but still… wow!

- In the KTMXGPs it was Northern Europe 2, Southern Europe 0

- Which considering it was -2c (-85F*) all weekend is no surprise

- I mean, really, snow is on the ground, are you going to bet on the Latvian or the Spaniard?

- And just to clarify, KTM went 1,2,4 in MXGP; 1,2 in MX2; 1,3,4 in EMX125; and 1,2,3,4,5 in the EMX300 class

- GasGas got 22nd in the EMX300, which is better than Honda, Kawasaki, TM, and Suzuki

- That Thomas Ramette, who no one had heard, of did pretty well

- I’ve actually interviewed him at Milan SX about his Red Bull Straight Rhythm invitation. Just sayin’

- Probably going to have to write this again at some stage (especially if Brayton wins) but the reason he’s kicking the bike over is that it’s a 2018 bike with the starting device removed

- You’d think that Chad Reed is old and wise enough not to mess with Chuck Norris

- So track workers in Denver… is that the new “world’s most dangerous job?"

- Can people please start spelling Gajser correctly? It is NOT Gasjer, not matter how much you think it’s be cool to have Gas in his name

- The moment of the race… the start. Quite damning that

- You could definitely tell it was Forkner’s home race

- I’m sure Zach will feel exactly the same, the next time they hold a race in Virginia

- Hmmmmm…

- It’s kinda weird to feel disappointed that Brayton "only" got fourth

- Please moto gods, allow Herlings and Cairoli to stay injury-free all year

- If you want to watch some more really good racing, check out the EMX300 second race

- It sounds pretty decent too

- Can we have a set time for taking stadium photos in order to judge emptiness please?

- All these “I took a photo 25 minutes after the 450 main and it was empty” comments are kind of pointless

- It’s good that Brandon Hartranft figured out how to get sixth place, without having to cut off a quarter of a lap

- Seriously though, that penalty is still a little OTT

- Call me sentimental, but I do feel sorry for Davalos

- Still, there’s always next year

- If you think Mike Alessi had a lot of pressure riding as a youngster, just imagine being a good Austrian rider

- Welcome to Rene Hofer’s world, who probably lives down the road from the KTM factory, in a house made out of Red Bull cans

- It seriously better be warmer in Spain this coming weekend
