Watch: Chance Hymas’ Flying Out

Shortly after its finding in 1889, Pocatello, Idaho became known as the “gateway to the Northwest” as pioneers, gold miners and other wild eyed adventurers moved amongst its evergreen trees and along the shorelines of the Portneuf River. Pocatello is also the home of one Chance Hymas. Sixteen-years-old and a member of the mighty Team Green Kawasaki amateur racing program, Hymas won the Schoolboy 2 (12-17) B/C class and was third overall in the 250 B Class at the 2020 AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship. BUT THAT WAS THEN AND THIS IS NOW! Now an A rider with his sight firmly set on Loretta Lynn’s this approaching August, Hymas has been hard at work sharpening his A Game and Flight Time is absolute proof of that. “My goal for Loretta’s 2021, I want to win both 250 Pro Sport and Open Pro Sport,” says the No. 832 racer. “That’ why I’m here in Idaho and training and riding away. This place is beautiful, I love it and it is now flight time!”
