Before the season, we end up with a treasure trove of rider head shots from every team photo shoot. They will be used a lot throughout the season. One photo this year haunts our photo server, our desktops, and our dreams. 

Shane McElrath is a fine-looking young man (sorry, he's off the market now, ladies), but something about this head shot doesn't work. 

Something is just off. Look closely.
