Experience MotoGP in 360 Virtual Reality

While virtual reality has yet to really take off for the average consumer, it’s definitely gaining some traction and may be how we view racing in the future—which wouldn’t be terrible. If you watched some of the footage from Lucas Oil Pro Motocross last year, which was shot with the Garmin VIRB 360, it’s pretty sweet.

Thanks to the Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP team, we can now watch MotoGP in 360—well, at least a testing session.

Team riders Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins were outfitted with VR-360 camera at a test in late 2017 at Aragon, and even though it’s just practice, the footage is awesome.

Here are some tips for watching from Suzuki:

- Android tablet/Smartphone: The video cannot be viewed correctly using some browsers. If there is a problem viewing, please watch using the YouTube app.

- iOS tablet/Smartphone: Please watch using the YouTube app.
