Clueless Too: Daytona

This is a satirical look at some of the bigger (and smaller) talking points from the weekend’s action based on what viewers from around the world are commenting on. Please don’t take it too seriously.

- I’d just like to send my congratulations to Jason Weigandt and his family for his win this past weekend

- And also to Justin Brayton

- Guess we don’t need to worry about whether his win in Atlanta was actually a win or not

- Seriously, I could probably write a whole Clueless article about Brayton. It reminds me of when Shaun Simpson won at Lierop, EVERYONE was happy

- Also, about time Honda got some good news

- It always amazed me how supercross didn’t broadcast (or even have) post-race press conferences before

- But now we’ve got them, they are producing gold!

- Gold, Jerry!

- That Hampshire crash looked horrendous. Glad he is (relatively) okay

- Same with Jimmy D, although I didn’t see the crash. Did anyone?

- It’s a shame the Jordon Smith’s result is kinda lost in all the commotion because he’s now in the 250 East Region title hunt

- Was there any Forkner / Osborne drama this weekend or was that overshadowed too?

- Guess the Tomac / Webb battles took the limelight this weekend

- I think it’s safe to assume that when you’re a top rider, you don’t really get along with any of your main rivals

- Shocking, I know

- Round of applause for Ricky Carmichael for (actually) producing a good Daytona track

- Fair to say that was a bit of an epic ride by Tomac to get all the way up to second

- Just don’t compare it to Herlings at Ironman

- Apparently it can rain in Phoenix

- And that rain can affect events in Daytona. That’s some crazy weather!

- How many more events does Brayton have to win before he becomes too famous and he can’t be Weege’s “guy” anymore?
