German engineering and electronics company Bosch is testing pressurized gas booster to address the danger of lowside motorcycle crashes. Bosch builds them for steering spacecraft, but judging by the video below, they could also serve another purpose.

As you can see in the video, once the system detects an impending lowside, the booster kicks in to counteract the slide. 

Who knows if this will actually work (or how much it will cost the consumer), but it’s cool to see a company experimenting with making motorcycles safer.
