I Couldn’t Resist. I Picked Jerry Robin In Fantasy Again

I fell for it again. I picked Jerry Robin in PulpMX Fantasy. He’s like a drug I can’t resist, even though I know it’s bad for me.

If you play PulpMX Fantasy or any of the other leagues out there, you know not to pick Jerry. You see, Jerry is a fantastic rider. And he always throws down a heater in qualifying, grabs a spot inside the top 20, and tempts you to pick him.

And then it all falls apart.

I knew this, yet, I couldn’t resist. He’s the forbidden fruit I must have.

There was hope, though! A lot of Jerry's problems can be traced back to bike issues. When he switched to the 450 Class, there was a beacon of hope. No way his bike would break! (More on that later.)

And then Jerry did Jerry. He qualified 16th in the 450 Class on Saturday at Muddy Creek. He was an 18 handicap. I had to do it!

And thus began my day on the Jerry Robin Fantasy merry-go-round.

Jerry finished 39th in the first moto.

Okay, okay. Just one moto. There is still hope at some good points.

Jerry finished 39th in moto two. He scored zero fantasy points on the day.

I wasn’t the only one to believe in Jerry, though:

Don’t worry, we’ll never learn. In two weeks, when I can pick him again, I probably will.

Jerry's gonna Jerry.
