Honda Really Wants Its "Fastest Lawn Mower In The World" Record Back

Honda, apparently, really wants its Guinness World Record of fastest lawn mower in the world back.

Back in 2014, the O.G. Honda Mean Mower hit a then-record of 116.575 mph. The record lasted a year, as Norwegians stuffed an LS1 in a Viking T6 and went 134 mph. Honda isn’t having it. They want to hit 150 mph.

Honda’s U.K. division and Team Dynamics have produced Mean Mower V2 and will go after the record at the 25th Annual Goodwood Festival of Speed in England, which starts today. They will be running in the hillclimb.

The team has outfitted a Honda HF2622 lawn tractor with a CBR1000RR Fireblade SP, making it stock 189 horsepower and 85 foot-pounds of torque.
