Alex Martin is one of the more personable riders in the sport. He’s funny, positive, and isn’t afraid to make fun of himself—or others. During the 250 press conference at RedBud, my esteemed Canadian colleague Steve Matthes and Martin had a funny exchange about how many times Martin had jumped the Leap that day. (Note: Alex and Steve are great friends. This was all in fun.)

Again, this was all good-natured banter between friends. 

This week, Martin had one of the best appearances ever on the Best Post-Race Show Ever. It featured Lucas Ladies Carrie Bolling and Nicole Cesa riding Uncle Ronnie Mac's 1998 CR250, Alex drinking wine from a bag, and my personal favorite gif of the weekend:
