Zero has finally revealed a new model the company has been teasing the past month or so. The new SR/F, Zero’s first sport naked model, is out, and it looks really good. (Obviously personal opinions vary, but I like it.)

The SR/F comes in a standard and premium model and the biggest difference is in charging time, as the premium features a better integrated charger pack. Both bikes have 110 horsepower and 140 lb feet of torque, and a top speed of 124 mph. City range is 161 miles. The optimal charge time on the standard is 1.8 hours, but it closed to 1.5 hours on the premium model. Zero says curb weight is 484 lbs for the standard and 498 for the premium.

What's interesting about electric bikes is that the city range is better than the highway range, which is different that EPA mileage you'd see on gas bikes (or cars).

The new SR/F is using the same 14.4 kWh battery used in the high-end S and SR, but what has changed is the electric motor. Currently, a 7-centimeter rotor is found in Zeros. The SR/F gets a 10-centimeter unit, which results in a performance boost. Both models are rated at 110 horsepower.

As expected, the price tag is a bit high. The standard will run you $18,995, with the premium priced at $20,995.
