Cameron McAdoo Explains Massive Crash at Atlanta 2, Never-Quit Attitude

Following a horrific crash at the Atlanta 2 Supercross round of the 2021 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, Cameron McAdoo sat at the top of an over-under bridge as the Alpinestars Medical Crew ran to attend to him. Luckily, the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider escaped without major injury and he was cleared to lineup again for the full restart, despite being the reason the race was red flagged. Not only did McAdoo restart of the race, but he almost grabbed the holeshot before eventually landing a third-place finish.

In a video from Monster Energy, the Iowa native explains what happened to cause the crash, what was going through his mind at the moment, his pain levels, his never-quit attitude, and his fight to keep his championship hopes alive. Check it out.

And check out some images Align Media photographers Mike Emery and Rich Shepherd captured of McAdoo that night.
